The Process

Sand

ā€‹

180 to 240 grit

ā€‹

 

Lightly sand with the grain.

ā€‹

lightly knock off any rough edges.

Stain

ā€‹

Shake/mix stain and pour into mixing cup

 

Wipe stain with grain then wipe off. Let dry completely

Spray

ā€‹

Remove dust from stained surface.

ā€‹

Spray an even coat of 1089 Self-Seal Clear

Sand

ā€‹

320 to 400 grit

ā€‹ā€‹

Lightly sand with the grain.

ā€‹

Be sure not to sand through the first coat

Spray

Remove dust from surface.

Spray an even, final coat of 1089 Self-Seal Clear
